Movies to watch in 2023

Here are the movies I am most looking forward to in 2023. No doubt, as usual, I will have missed some. And maybe even included some that end up being rubbish, have awful reviews and I don’t bother watching! (Release dates are UK release dates, unless stated).

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantimania (17 February)
Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre (3 March – US)
Scream 6 (10 March) (not even watched Scream 5 yet so I may not watch this)
65 (10 March) – could be rubbish but written by writers of A Quiet Place
Shazam! Fury of the Gods (17 March)
John Wick: Chapter 4 (24 March)
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (7 April)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (5 May)
Fast X (19 May)
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2 June) (still not watched Into the Spider-Verse yet)
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (9 June)
The Flash (16 June)
Extraction 2 (16 June)
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (30 June)
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (14 July)
The Meg 2: The Trench (4 August)
Next Goal Wins (22 Sept)

Kraven the Hunter (6 October) – plot unknown but his story is he wants to track down Spider-Man in become the world’s best hunter. In the movie may be possible he is more an anti-hero, along the lines of Venom and Morbius?
The Marvels (10 November) – this is basically Captain Marvel 2
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (17 November) – only seen the first 2 Hunger Games movies so need to catch up
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (29 December)
