My FPL YouTube channel

I started an FPL YouTube channel in the middle of the 2025/26 season. I had always wanted to start a YouTube channel and an FPL one was most obvious.

It was originally called The Rubbish FPL Player. Although I didn’t really consider my “rubbish” at FPL, more very average, I was having an awful FPL season last season – with rank at points around 8.7m. (And there were no FPL YouTube channels which were talking about how they were rubbish!).

Ended season 2.6m rank so still not good at all! And thinking maybe the channel could be documenting some sort of journey to being “not rubbish”.

I suppose I did improve. When I started channel I was about 4m rank I think so wasn’t as bad in the end! Anyway, I decided to change the name before this season. Rubbish FPL Player was probably a bit too negative! So changed channel name to FPL Climber. Similar ish in a way that its about improving rank/getting better.

Although since changing the name, its been good ranks/green arrows. End of GW1 I was 170k and as I write this, just as GW3 has finished and I am 77k! Maybe all because of name change 😜
