Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom – review. Rating: 3/5

I watched the latest Jurassic Park/World movie (aka Jurassic Park 5 aka Jurassic World 2 aka Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) about a couple weeks ago and I mostly enjoyed it – as a fun, “popcorn” movie. It has several faults but I still walked out of the cinema thinking to myself that it was a Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom – review. Rating: 3/5

A Quiet Place – review (spoiler-free). Rating: 5/5

I went to watch the movie A Quiet Place about a week ago. I had heard it was good and I like the 2 main stars Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. To be honest I have not seen much of John Krasinski but seen several things Emily Blunt has been in and both of them A Quiet Place – review (spoiler-free). Rating: 5/5

Movies of 2017 – the good, the bad, the ugly

Bit late this year writing about the movies of 2017. Of course I didn’t see all the movies which were released and I didn’t watch many of the “big/must see” ones. 2017 wasn’t the best year for movies – it was officially the worse summer box office in over a decade (in America so probably Movies of 2017 – the good, the bad, the ugly

FoodNFilm – Spider-man Homecoming / Revolucion de Cuba

So last week I went to my first FoodNFilm event – which is a food/film/networking event. But also FoodNFilm – Spider-man Homecoming / Revolucion de Cuba

Spider-man: Homecoming – Review. (Spoiler – its brilliant!)

Excellent movie – really enjoyed it! Very entertaining and great fun throughout – no dull moments. Now if you don’t want any spoilers at all, even minor ones, stop reading now. (And I personally hate spoilers and thats one reason I don’t really watch trailers). The end sort of 25 minutes was a bit more Spider-man: Homecoming – Review. (Spoiler – its brilliant!)

Baby Driver – Review. Entertaining movie!

Went to see Baby Driver today. Heard it was really good so I had big expectations. Not always a good thing. Looking online its currently 97% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and 86% Metacritic. (The ratings on both these sites have its issues but its a good indication). I had seen the trailer for Baby Driver Baby Driver – Review. Entertaining movie!

Movies in 2016 – thoughts

So last year (2016), I thought overall it was a pretty poor year. Especially for blockbuster type movies – which is generally the movies I watch. Especially in the cinema. Here is my regular look back at the movies released in the year. The standout without a doubt was Deadpool. But if I am honest, Movies in 2016 – thoughts

Comic-Con – Trailers

I have watched a load of the movie and TV trailers which were shown during Comic-Con (in San Diego) recently. It used to be that the to see the trailers, you used to have to watch for rubbish quality cam video but they are released officially now. I usually avoid trailers, especially the later ones, Comic-Con – Trailers
