Six By Nico

Went to Six By Nico other week for a “Friendma” – Christmas get together with friends. Six By Nico changes its menu every 6 weeks with a different tasting menu. We went during the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party theme – so lots of the things not as they seem. For example the Steak Tartare was Six By Nico: Manchester – Review

Review: Thai Kitchen No.6

August 22, 2019

I went to Thai Kitchen No.6 a few weeks ago with some friends. Thai Kitchen No.6 opened around June this year – its taken over the site of the vegetarian restaurant 1846. I had never been to 1846 before but looking at photos, a lot of the decor is still the same. It was one Review: Thai Kitchen No.6

Mash Tun (Manchester) – Review

July 9, 2019
Mash Tun

Mash Tun opened relatively recently so it was on my list to try. I had not had too much about it but liked the idea of lots of different types of sausages combined with different type of mash (plus different types of gravy). I went to Mash Tun with couple friends the other week – Mash Tun (Manchester) – Review

Honest Burgers: Review. Best burger in Manchester?

May 31, 2019

I went to Honest Burger with group of friends last week. I love burgers and in Manchester, it used to be case where it seemed like you had several really good places to go for a great burger. But I think that is less of a case now. My favourite burger place Filthy Cow closed Honest Burgers: Review. Best burger in Manchester?

Wahaca: Review 🌮

April 18, 2019

Went to Wahaca couple weeks ago. Never actually been but it was on my list to visit, ever since it opened in Corn Exchange. Even though it is a “chain”, I like Mexican food and the person who is behind it won Masterchef years ago and there most be a reason why she has several Wahaca: Review 🌮

Koreana – Review

March 27, 2019

Had not been to Koreana for awhile. Last time was about 18 months ago. I have been to Koreana a few times in today and I think I always go for the bibimbap. The last time I went the bibimbap was just OK. Lacked a bit – as I said in earlier review it needed Koreana – Review

Dishoom – Manchester: Review. Good tasty food!

March 12, 2019

Been to this Dishoom a couple times – all during its “soft launch” period at the end of last year. Went with group of friends for a late breakfast first time. Review: BAB

January 27, 2019

Went to BAB other week – this is a new kebab place which opened a few months ago in Northern Quarter in Manchester. It was one of the many restaurants in Manchester which had a January deal – not quite as good as the 50% off deals you see in some restaurants – it was Review: BAB

Review: One Plus

December 26, 2018

Excellent new restaurant which opened in Manchester at the end of 2017. The restaurant is split into 2 levels – the lower level is the more “traditional” restaurant with noodle and rice dishes. The rice dishes change weekly. The ground floor level is for (Chinese) hot pot. Also known as steamboat or also “da bin Review: One Plus

My Thai – Review

October 21, 2018

Went to My Thai few days ago with couple friends. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was fairly busy – and while we were there were a few Deliveroo deliveries/takeaways being picked up. My Thai is certainly a place you can go for inexpensive food. Most of the main courses was £7.50. I My Thai – Review
